Pre-Covid
Our journey
We wanted to obtain 2 properties with the intentions of rennovating prior to deciding whether to Flip or Rent Out.
We began by rennovating a further property in Martham for our Son who is also a Landlord. Estate Agents were full of praise for the quality of our transformation to the property.
Progress on our properties was slowed due to the pandemic and supply issues.
Now fully rennovated and redecorated, relevant Gas and Electrical Safety Certificates obtained.
Realising that the LOcal Housing Demand was for 'Affordable Properties for Rental', we decided to offer both properties for the Rental Market.
Our 1st Property !
We buy our 1st property in Martham which co-incidentally was next door to one just bought by our Son !
We saw the For Sale sign and soon had arranged a viewing. 3 months later we were the proud owners and ready to make a start.
Progress was hampered by Covid and suply issues, but we have done a great deal of work in transforming the property. We worked aound some of the problems living out in the countryside, such as the lack of a gas supply and have vastly improved the Energy Performance of this property.

Our 2nd Property...
We wanted a further property and were convinced that somewhere close to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston would be an excellent choice.
We soon found a 2 bedroom, ground floor flat within walking distance and served by an underpass, so not even any need to cross the road on the way to the JPH.
After much work on the central heating and bathroom and kitchen upgrades, tiling and complete redecoration, this would be an ideal home for the family of an NHS worker.
